Great home for a big group
This was a great home for a big group of us meeting up pre Christmas. Good dining and lounging areas, ample seating for everyone and very well equipped for larger parties - plenty of kitchen equipment without having to constantly be washing up. Lovely and warm on a very cold weekend and incredibly comfortable beds. Also, it was spotlessly clean on arrival. We would definitely consider this again for a similar event in the Cotswolds, thank you Jonathan.

The garden was glorious
Wonderful location for our family get-together. As a group of 10 adults plus 2 children we found the garden and the amenities ideal for our week in the Cotswolds. The large conservatory room with the piano turned out to be the venue for many evenings of wonderful entertainment. The garden was glorious and the vintage steam train passing by the house was thrilling for adults and kids alike. Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds.

What a fabulous property! We travelled as a group of 11 adults and 2 babies and found the property was just as described, the house was immaculate and catered for our needs. We had wonderful weather and spent most of the weekend out in the garden which had a lovely big patio set and parasol. The communication with Jonathan was great and he was able to recommend a local pub (within walking distance). Overall a fantastic house which I would highly recommend.

Relaxing weekend away
Lovely house perfect for a girls relaxing weekend away. Short walk into them town/village of Winchcombe where we would recommend The Lion Inn, White Hart and also the Royal Oak at Gretton with lovely views.

Great social and dining spaces
Wonderful house for a weekend away with friends. We had three small children under 2. The main house has 4 bedrooms and three of these are big enough to fit in travel cots. Great social and dining spaces and in a beautiful setting. Jonathan recommended The Royal Oak in Gretton for lunch and this was perfect, great food and fabulous views from their conservatory. Very helpful host and a beautiful home!

Perfect for a hen weekend
A lovely house, it was a perfect size for 10 of us celebrating a hen weekend. Jonathan was very easy to communicate with too. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic host, great location
Jonathan was such a fantastic host. Everything was there for us and perfectly so. We were a group of ten who stayed for a hen party for two nights, and the house was exactly what we were after. We loved the garden and the steam trains (and the glorious weather), and the house is beautiful and in a great location. Inside, the media room was perfect for us all to relax in, and the dining room/snooker room was great too. All of our host's communication and information before we arrived was incredibly handy as well, so many, many thanks.

I cannot even begin to describe this place!!! It is absolutely stunning and such a fabulous place for a medium-sized party!! There were 11 of us at a hen do and everything we needed was here - yoga mats, a beautiful grand piano for a sing along, a trampoline, a massive, lovely garden for the summer, a fully equipped beautiful kitchen, and the speakers and space for the best living room dance party! If you are thinking of hiring somewhere for 10-14 people, THIS IS THE PLACE!! I am SO coming back for my 40th!

Wonderful location for our family get-together. As a group of 10 adults plus 2 children we found the garden and the amenities ideal for our week in the Cotswolds. In particular the large conservatory room with the piano served as the venue for many evenings of wonderful entertainment - usually completed with a screening on the home cinema system. The garden was glorious and, while being ideal for our croquet and Mollky sessions, it also had so many small tranquil areas for anyone looking to have a break from the activities. The vintage steam train passing by the house was thrilling for adults and kids alike. Perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds.

Great weekend getaway
Just spent a great weekend (family 70th birthday) at Jonathan's place in Winchcombe. Really amazing house combining the look of a country cottage with mod-cons and some unusual features. Whole house is done to a very high standard including a "walk-in" fridge, amazing home cinema and beautiful furnishings. The large trampoline and passing of an occasional steam train were great entertainment for the kids. Jonathan and Helena are great hosts and very easy to deal with and would highly recommend their house for a relaxing weekend getaway to the cotswolds.

Something for everyone
We had a wonderful family weekend, in this beautiful home. There was something for everyone, and enough different areas to do all sorts of activities. We arrived on Friday and didn't feel the need to leave until our checkout time on Sunday. We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyable, clean, comfortable
Had a really enjoyable stay with friends. The house was as described and very clean and comfortable. Jonathan was very approachable and communicated well before and during our stay. Would recommend!

This was an amazing place to spend time catching up with family for my parents-in-law's diamond anniversary. The place offers what it says in paper. As a family we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor (incredible hot weather on Saturday) dining areas. The youngsters and those less younger enjoyed the pool table and trampoline. And last but not least the orangery is definitely a great feature of this house with the grand piano where my brother-in-law could delight us with his music skill and we all enjoyed watching a film with the cinema system and generally relaxing and chatting there. Jonathan is also not far if you have any queries. All in all a great weekend!

Group of 10 adults and 3 young children. Host instructions clear and concise. Check in easy and plenty of parking at the front (we had 5 cars). House exterior is picture perfect, gardens are well maintained, lovely patio seating area and large trampoline to keep the kids entertained. Old steam train rolls along the back of the garden to add to the local feel. House interior spacious, clean and plenty of room. Rooms a good size and mattresses super comfy. Would recommend and would stay again.

Happy family weekend
We spent a very happy family Easter weekend at Jonathan's home which was exactly as how it is described. The house is about a 20 minute walk into Winchcombe where there are a number of pubs and restaurants. We ate at The Lion which was very friendly and good food. There are plenty of beautiful walks to choose from, and it's a great place to explore the Cotswolds.

Whilst Jonathan was a little reserved about hosting a group of 13 all in their late 20s - he put us at ease during our stay. The level of communication before the stay (even extending to a YouTube series) is unprecedented in all of my previous stays. The house itself is beautiful - with every amenity that our group could have asked for, the pool table and home cinema were particular highlights. The location is excellent - with a range of good walks and better pubs all in close proximity to the house. We had a wonderful weekend and would all highly recommend to anyone looking to book!
